Dhananjay Gujar has a work experience in the foundry industry. Dhananjay worked as the Chief Manager of Foundry Engineering at Walchandnagar Industries Limited starting from August 2004. In this role, their responsibilities included casting feasibility, development of casting, cost estimation, and methoding of Grey cast iron and ductile iron castings. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of C.I. Foundry at Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. from November 1981 to October 2000.
Dhananjay Gujar attended two institutions for their education. From 1977 to 1980, they studied at Govt. Polytechnic in Pune, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. During the same period, they also studied at Shree Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic in Mumbai, where they received a Diploma in Metallurgy and a Post Diploma in Foundry Technology, specializing in Foundry. In addition to their formal education, Dhananjay has an additional certification as an internal auditor for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
