System Engineer at Walden Local Meat

Micaela Wiseman has extensive work experience in the engineering field. From 2019 to present, they have been a System Engineer at Walden Local Meat Co. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 2013 to 2017, they were an Electrical Engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, where they worked on a special projects team designing imaging systems and developed a GNURadio-based live video transmission system. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Power Electronics Lab Assistant/Microcomputers Lab Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they met one-on-one with students to review their designs and answer questions relating to the upper-level lab classes. From 2012 to 2011, they were an Electromagnetic Systems Division Intern at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, where they developed a system for automated testing of high performance radios. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Research Intern at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where they ran mathematical simulations in MATLAB as well as PSPICE models to characterize a new model for a switched capacitor converter and predict its effectiveness. Lastly, from 2011 to 2011, they were a Design Intern at Linear Technology, where they designed and constructed a bias flip rectifier device to improve the performance of a piezo-electric energy harvester.

Micaela Wiseman completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013. Micaela then returned to the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Technology and Policy in 2019.
