Deanna Paul

Deanna Paul is an accomplished legal professional and educator with a diverse background in journalism and law. Currently serving as an Associate at Walden Macht & Haran LLP since September 2022, Deanna also holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor of Media Law at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism since October 2021. Previously, Deanna worked as a Legal Affairs Reporter for The Wall Street Journal from January 2020 to August 2022 and as a Reporter for The Washington Post from June 2018 to January 2020. Notably, Deanna has experience as an Assistant District Attorney at both the Kings County District Attorney's Office and the Queens District Attorney's Office across various specializations. Academically, Deanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, and a Master of Science from Columbia University.
