Andre van Linden has over 30 years of experience in the coatings and paints industry, currently serving as Chairman of ISO TC35 for Paints & Varnishes since January 2018. His notable career at AkzoNobel includes roles as R&D Director for various expertise groups, such as Scientific Academic Partnerships and Woodcare, as well as managing decorative paint laboratories across Europe. Andre has also contributed to the Advanced Research Center within the Chemical Building Block Consortium as a member of the Executive Board. A Chemical Engineering graduate from Delft University of Technology, Andre has a diverse background in research, development, and marketing within the sector, having held various positions since 1986, including marketing manager in Russia and R&D manager.
