Dr Ken Lunde

Dr. Ken Lunde is a Font Developer at Apple, a position held since August 2021, following a previous contract role starting in January 2020. With over three decades of experience in CJK (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) type development, they worked at Adobe from July 1991 until October 2019, where they architected and maintained major Pan-CJK typeface families. Dr. Lunde has authored several significant publications, including three books on Japanese and CJK information processing, and has contributed to various international standardization efforts in the field. They have also served in multiple liaison and leadership roles with the ISO and Unicode Consortium, showcasing their expertise in typography and linguistics.
