David Vasella

David Vasella is currently a partner at Walder Wyss Ltd. David has previously worked as counsel at the company from January 2017 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were with Solera Holdings, Inc. as a secondment data licensing and privacy from August 2015 to March 2016. From June 2014 to August 2014, they were on secondment with STOXX Ltd. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as an associate with FRORIEP. David Vasella started their career as an intern with Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd from January 2000 to December 2002.

David Vasella studied law at the University of Zurich and the University of Fribourg and was admitted to the bar in Zurich in 1986. David obtained a PhD in law from the University of Zurich in 1989. In addition to their law degree, they hold a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and a CIPP/E certification from the IAPP.
