Shannon Johnson

Shannon Johnson is an accomplished spa and wellness professional currently serving as the Director of Spa, Wellness & Retail at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club since March 2024. Previously, Shannon held the role of Director of Spa at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa from January 2023 to March 2024 and at The West Hollywood EDITION from June 2021 to January 2023. Shannon has also contributed to Montage Hotels & Resorts as the Assistant Director of Spa (Interim Director) from August 2019 to June 2021 and as Assistant Director of Spa at Hyatt Regency from August 2017 to August 2019. Earlier career experiences include roles at Burke Williams Day Spas, Inc. as Assistant Facility Manager and at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts as Food and Beverage Manager. Shannon's extensive background in hospitality also includes positions at Le Méridien Dallas, Anaheim Marriott, and Dolce Hotels & Resorts. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from City University of Seattle, earned between 2006 and 2008.
