Megan Lin has a diverse range of work experience in early childhood education. Megan started their career as a Preschool Teacher/Director at My First Gym from 1997 to 1999. Megan then worked as a Substitute Nursery School Teacher at the San Francisco Waldorf School from 2006 to 2007. Megan later served as a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher and After-Care Provider at the Greenwood School from 2007 to 2007. Megan also worked as a Playgroup Facilitator and Kindergarten Substitute Teacher at the Waldorf Steiner Education Association Singapore in 2008. Megan then worked at various roles at different schools, including The Mountain School, Greenwood School, Morning Song School, and Housatonic Valley Waldorf School, as a Substitute Nursery School Teacher or Early Childhood Substitute Teacher. Megan joined the Waldorf School of the Peninsula in 2011 and held positions such as Nursery Assistant, High School Bell Choir Director, and Early Childhood Substitute Teacher and Reception. Currently, Megan is the Lead Nursery Teacher at the Waldorf School of the Peninsula, a position they have held since July 2017.
Megan Lin's education history includes attending Ratchasuda College in Thailand in 2008 for Asian Waldorf Teacher Training. Megan then obtained a Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Rudolf Steiner College from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, in 1996 to 1998, they earned a BA in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. Additionally, in 1989 to 1991, Megan studied Photography at The Ohio State University. Megan has also obtained various certifications, including a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in July 2019 and certifications in Waldorf Teacher Education Program for Early Childhood and EMSA Health and Safety Certification for Child Care Providers in 2009.
