Dr. Tobias Abeln

Dr. Tobias Abeln has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Dr. Tobias is currently serving as the CTO at WALDRICH COBURG. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant / Interim Manager at abeln management consulting. From 2011 to 2020, Dr. Abeln held significant roles at EOS - Electro Optical Systems, including Geschäftsführer / CTO and Vice President Technology. Before that, they worked as the Head of Development at MAG IAS, LLC, where they focused on the development and design of machining centers. Earlier in their career, Dr. Abeln served as the Head of Research and Development and Head of Profit Center Machine at Gehring Technologies GmbH, where they managed sales, project management, design, and development of modular and standardized machine series.

Dr. Tobias Abeln completed their education at the University of Stuttgart from 1996 to 2000. Dr. Tobias obtained a degree of Dr.-Ing. in the field of study at the Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge IFSW. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in Systemischer Coach und Team-Berater (DBVC) from noesis - Training & Beratung in June 2023.
