Matthew Hindle has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as a Parliamentary Researcher for the Office of David Laws MP. Matthew then worked as a Parliamentary and Legislative Adviser for the Liberal Democrats in 2010. From 2010 to 2016, Hindle held various roles at The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association, including Policy and Information Adviser, Policy Manager, and Head of Policy. In 2016, they joined the Energy Networks Association as Head of Gas, a position they held until 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Net Zero and Sustainability at Wales & West Utilities.
Matthew Hindle attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2002 to 2004. After that, they attended Durham University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History, graduating with a 1st class honors.
