Meryl Xue

Meryl Xue is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and public relations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs for Asia Pacific at Walgreens Boots Alliance since October 2012, Meryl plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's presence in China. Previously, as an Account Manager at Ogilvy Healthworld, Meryl was the first Asian and non-English native speaker at the agency, managing accounts for global pharmaceutical clients and focusing on product launch PR, engagement campaigns, and business development. Meryl's early career includes an internship at the World Health Organization, contributing to efforts during the H1N1 pandemic, and a progressive six-year tenure at Jiefang Daily Group, where Meryl held roles including front-page editor and senior reporter. Meryl's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy Literature & History from Fudan University.
