Margit Sperling

Margit Sperling is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in food tourism and language education. As the Chief Food Officer and Founder of Walk and Eat Spain since April 2019, Margit has developed neighborhood food tours in Madrid, showcasing the city's culinary delights and vibrant culture. Prior to this role, Margit served as an English Language Instructor at Autónoma, creating personalized training programs, and held various positions in language education, including Madrid City Manager at Devour Spain, head of studies and project manager at MCH Training, and English teacher at several language schools. Margit began a career in administration and translation with Bread for the City. Margit earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Washington.
