Mark Schaaf

Mark Schaaf is an experienced international trainer with a robust background in leadership development and curriculum adaptation within various church contexts. Since June 1991, contributions to WorldVenture and Walk Thru the Bible include roles such as International Trainer and Regional Trainer for Southern Africa, where Mark has effectively coached and mentored national trainers across 15 nations. Mark's previous experience as Regional Director for iEQUIP significantly impacted over 55,000 pastors and community leaders engaging with leadership curriculum. Academic qualifications include a DLitt et Phil in Ancient Near Eastern History and Biblical Archeology from the University of South Africa, along with postgraduate studies in Historical Geography from Jerusalem University College and an MA in Intercultural Communications from Western Seminary, complemented by a BA in International Relations from the University of Alabama.
