Maria Pyatakova

Maria Pyatakova is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Marketing & Communications Manager at Walkabout Foundation since June 2020. Maria has a strong background in overseeing marketing materials, digital campaign planning, graphic design, and social media management, with roles scaling from Social Media Manager to Marketing Lead. Prior to Walkabout Foundation, Maria held the position of Marketing Communications Manager at Ivy Tech, where strategic marketing evaluations and tailored strategies were developed. Maria began the career as an Assistant Copyeditor at Revolution Magazine, focusing on quality control of written content. Academically, Maria holds a Master of Arts in Communications Management and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Webster Geneva Campus, as well as a High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate from College Alpin International BeauSoleil.
