Amanda Hunt is an experienced professional in public engagement, learning, and curatorial practice, currently serving as the Head of Public Engagement, Learning and Impact at Walker Art Center since May 2022. Previously, Amanda held key positions including Director of Public Programs & Creative Practice at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and Director of Education and Public Programs at MOCA | The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Additional experience includes co-curating Desert X and serving as Associate Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem. Amanda began their curatorial career as Curator for the Portland2014 Biennial and has also worked as a Curator at LAXART. Amanda holds a Master's Degree in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts.
