Matthew Villar Miranda

Matthew Villar Miranda is a seasoned professional in the art sector, currently serving as a Curatorial Associate at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive since May 2023, and as a Visual Arts Curatorial Fellow at the Walker Art Center since July 2021. Additionally, Matthew holds a position as a Curatorial Fellow at Arizona State University Art Museum since August 2018, where responsibilities have included curatorial research, exhibition design, and coordination of artist residencies. Previous experience includes a role as Selling Supervisor at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from April 2014 to August 2018, and internships at X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly and HVW8 Art + Design Gallery. Matthew earned a Master of Arts in Art History from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley.
