Shontera Gillespie-Coleman has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Shontera currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Walker Auto and Truck, where they are responsible for developing and executing human resource and human capital management strategies. Prior to this, Shontera held the same role at Luihn VantEdge Partners, LLC, overseeing all departments related to people management across multiple states. Shontera has also served as an HR Business Partner at WellCare Health Plans, where they advised and influenced leadership on people management initiatives, and as a Human Resources Manager at Red Hat, collaborating with HR colleagues on talent initiatives. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a specialization in Human Resources from Central Michigan University, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002.
