Nathan Croft

Nathan Croft has a diverse work experience in the fields of urban planning and development. Nathan has held various roles in different organizations, starting from 2004 until present. From 2004 to 2005, they worked at Auburn Municipal Council as a Senior Development Assessment Planner and later as a Team Leader in Urban Design and Planning. Nathan then worked at Lendlease from 2005 to 2016, where they held multiple roles such as Project Planner, Planning Manager, Senior Planner, and Business Development Analyst. From 2016 to 2017, Nathan worked at Ethos Urban as an Associate Director, responsible for project execution and delivery. Following that, they joined Western Town Planning as the Owner from 2009 to 2019, simultaneously owning and managing Sydney Soy Candles, a small business. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Sunglow Australia as the Executive Planning Manager. Additionally, Nathan held positions at Orion Consulting and UDIA NSW, where they worked as a Planning Director and Principal Planner, respectively. Finally, in 2023, they joined Walker Corporation as a Principal Planner.

Nathan Croft holds a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Sydney. Nathan is also a Registered Planner, having obtained a degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the Planning Institute of Australia. Additionally, Nathan has a Certificate IV in Project Management from the Urban Development Institute of Australia. Nathan completed their undergraduate studies at Macquarie University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree with a focus on Resource Environmental Management, GIS, Human Geography, and Heritage Management. Prior to their university education, Nathan completed their Higher School Certificate at St Marys Senior High. Nathan has also obtained several certifications, including "Become an L&D Professional" and "Getting Started as a LinkedIn Learning Admin" from LinkedIn in 2018, as well as a "Work Health & Safety General Construction Induction" certification from SafeWork NSW in 2005.
