John Collins

John Collins is a seasoned professional in asset management and financial services with extensive experience in the multifamily sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Walker & Dunlop since July 2020, John leads the GSE Asset Management team. Previously, John held the position of Director, Multifamily Loss Mitigation at Fannie Mae, where leadership focused on the Watchlist Management Group. John's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at CWCapital LLC, overseeing the asset management group for a $15 billion portfolio, and as Senior Portfolio Manager at Mass Development/Land Bank, managing credit enhancements and loans. Additionally, John's career began at HUD as a Senior Asset Management Specialist, managing a portfolio of multifamily and elderly housing projects. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UMass Boston.
