Maurice Guimont

Maurice Guimont has extensive experience in the aggregate and construction materials industry, currently serving as General Manager at Walker Industries since January 2023, where responsibilities include strategic planning and accountability for profit and loss for the Niagara/Essex Aggregate business unit. Prior to this role, Maurice held significant positions at Unilock as Assistant Plant Manager, overseeing plant operations, and at Carmeuse North America as Plant Manager, managing mine development and plant maintenance priorities. Maurice's earlier career includes a tenure at Holcim as Regional Operations Manager, where project implementation across multiple sites was key, as well as in Quality Assurance and New Product Development, focusing on product commercialization and innovation. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business and a Chemical Technologist degree from Humber College.
