Michael Arjona

Assistant Head Of School & Head Of Upper School at The Walker School

Michael Arjona began their work experience in 2001 as a Math and Humanities Teacher at Charlestown High School. In 2002, they joined The Walker School as an Upper School Economics and History Teacher. Michael then progressed to the role of Upper School Academic Dean in 2008 and later became the PK-12 Director of Studies in 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Head of School & Head of Upper School at The Walker School.

Michael Arjona earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Duke University in 2001. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Georgia State University, which they completed in 2005. In 2013, Michael obtained a Master of Education degree in Independent School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to their higher education, Michael attended The Walker School from 1993 to 1997.
