Carrie Monaghan has worked in a variety of roles since 1993. Carrie began their career as a Broadcast Engineer at WDAF-TV in 1993, then moved on to become a Swim Coach and Instructor at Lifetime Fitness in 2008. In 2013, they took on the role of Head Swim Coach at NFS Neptunes and Assistant Swim Coach at Kansas City Blazers Swim Team. Carrie then moved to The Jewish Community Center in 2016 as their JCC Aquatics Supervisor, then JCC Aquatics Coordinator at The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in 2017, and finally Aquatics Manager at Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in 2018. Most recently, they joined WalkerHealthcareIT as a Sr. Healthcare Recruiter in 2021.
Carrie Monaghan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunicative Arts-Broadcast Engineering from Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences between 1989 and 1992. Prior to this, they attended Saint Mary's University of Minnesota between 1987 and 1989. Carrie also holds certifications from the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor (2017), USA Swimming Foundations of Coaching (2013), American Red Cross WSIT (2017), Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches.
