Kent Thudium has worked in the scientific field for over 30 years. In 1987, they began their career as a Scientist I at Chiron Corporation. In 2001, they joined Medarex as a Scientist II and Bristol Myers Squibb as a Principal Research Scientist. At Bristol Myers Squibb, their role included immune-oncology research and development, adaptive immunology, early discovery, and life cycle management/MOA. Kent was later promoted to Senior Principal Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb. In 2022, they joined Walking Fish Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Principal Scientist.
Kent Thudium obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
