Reeva Misra has a diverse and accomplished work history. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant for the Oxford Crossmodal Laboratory, where they published two papers and presented their work at the Rethinking the Senses Conference. In 2012, they founded the photography blog Humans of Oxford, which gained recognition and was featured in publications such as Buzzfeed.
In 2014, Reeva founded Vahani, a non-profit organization that provides financial support, mentorship, and career guidance to exceptional underprivileged students in India. Reeva served as the Founder & CEO of Vahani until 2019.
Reeva also co-founded Career Catcher, a career advice platform for Yale students, in 2015. The platform connects students across Yale's campus based on their career interests. Reeva served as a co-founder of Career Catcher until 2016.
In 2016, Reeva took on the role of Teaching Fellow at Yale University. Reeva also worked as a Strategy Consultant for the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) during the same year, where they assisted government leaders in making evidence-based policy decisions.
In 2017, Reeva became a Strategy Consultant for NPC (New Philanthropy Capital), where they helped government leaders, policy labs, and non-profits in utilizing data for effective policy-making. Reeva also joined BenevolentAI in the same year, initially as an Associate and then as a Director. BenevolentAI focuses on the development and application of artificial intelligence for drug discovery and development.
Reeva's most recent role is as the Founder & CEO of Walking on Earth (WONE), a precision health platform for the workplace. WONE uses the WONE Index to quantify an employee's stress levels and provides a recommended health plan delivered by a network of leading experts.
Throughout their work experience, Reeva has demonstrated their dedication to philanthropy, education, technological innovation, and improving health and well-being in various capacities.
Reeva Misra has a Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. Reeva also has a Master's Degree in Jackson Institute for Global Affairs from Yale University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in 300hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga Alliance, although the specific month and year of this certification are not provided.
