Shr Cynthia Simmons Taylor

Cynthia Simmons Taylor, PHR SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Cynthia is currently the Director of Human Resources at Wallace Design Collective, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, Cynthia worked as a Jazz Vocalist for their own business, CynSingsJazz, providing classic jazz entertainment for various events since 2010.

From 2015 to 2023, Cynthia held multiple roles at the Tulsa Regional Chamber, including Senior Vice President Human Resources and Head of Culture, Talent, and HR. Cynthia Simmons Taylor, PHR SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, which they completed between the years 1984 and 1990. Prior to that, they attended Capitol Hill High School from 1980 to 1984. In 1999 to 2000, Cynthia pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Cynthia has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Cynthia completed the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute in May 2009. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in January 2015.
