Elena Kokkinara

Elena Kokkinara, PhD, is an experienced engineering manager with a background in leading innovative technology projects and managing skilled engineering teams. Currently, as an Engineering Manager at Wallapop since January 2024, Elena is responsible for structuring agile processes to ensure timely product deliveries. Previously, Elena held similar roles at Aidence and served as CTO at Inflight VR Software GmbH, where successful delivery of a virtual reality entertainment platform was achieved for major airlines like Qatar, Iberia, and Lufthansa. With a strong foundation in virtual reality and computer science, including a PhD from Universitat de Barcelona, Elena has also contributed to EU-funded research projects and developed applications in academia.
