Chittur Subramanian

Chittur has more than two decades of sea-going experience, half of which was spent commanding large tankers managed by Wallem. Ten years ago, he decided it was time to come ashore. Since then, he has applied his substantial practical knowledge and experience in leadership roles across Wallem’s safety, insurance, and technical teams. Chittur has gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Insurance from the World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden, and completed the Ivey Consortium Program (ICE) / Accelerating Management Talent Program (AMT) with Richard Ivey International Business School. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute.
