Kristin Schjødt Bitnes

Kristin Schjødt Bitnes is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the maritime and logistics sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for Nordisk Defence Club since June 2021, Kristin has held the position of SVP, Legal and General Counsel at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics since August 2015, where previous roles included Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager. Additionally, Kristin contributes to the Norwegian Shipowners' Association as a member of the law committee and serves on the Advisory Board of West P&I. Prior experience includes Senior Legal Counsel at Stolt-Nielsen Limited and various roles at Advokatfirmaet Simonsen Vogt Wiig AS, as well as an Associate position at Advokatfirmaet Legalis AS. Educational qualifications include a Cand. Jur degree from the University of Oslo and participation in an exchange program at The University of North Dakota School of Law.
