Roberto Zavala

Roberto Zavala has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Roberto started their career in 2001 as a Project Engineer at Ingenieria, Operación y Equipos Especializados. In 2001, they then moved on to work as a Project Engineer at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects. Later, in 2004, they joined Genesee & Wyoming Inc. as a Sales Manager. From 2007 to 2011, Roberto served as a Project and Commercial Manager at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean & Solutions. In 2011, they were promoted to the position of Manager, Commercial Strategy Development at the same company. In 2014, they took on the role of Managing Director/Head of Mexico, and in 2020, they became the Vice President of Mexico Operations at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean & Solutions.

Roberto Zavala received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Chalmers University of Technology from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1995 to 2000.
