Andrew Carney

Andy Carney is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, particularly in volatility strategies. Carney served at Walleye Capital from January 2006 to the present, holding multiple leadership roles including Partner, CIO of Volatility, President and Co-CIO, and CEO, with a foundational role as an Options Trader. In addition, Carney contributes as a member of the Endowment Investment Committee at Luther College since July 2023. Prior work experience includes serving as an Actuary at Towers Perrin from 2001 to 2005. Carney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Math/Statistics and Computer Science from Luther College, where studies were completed from 1997 to 2001, and is an alumnus of Eagan High School, graduating in 1997.
