Sumaya Ahmed

Sumaya Ahmed is a dedicated nursing student at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from 2022 to 2026. Currently serving as a Wallin Scholar at Wallin Education Partners since June 2022, Sumaya has benefited from a comprehensive college-completion program focused on financial aid and professional development. Prior experience includes a Change Management Intern role at Medtronic from September 2021 to August 2022, and participation in the Young Professional program at Genesys Works Twin Cities, where skills in business etiquette, communication, and conflict resolution were developed, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office. As a Student Advisory Board Member, Sumaya contributed valuable feedback to enhance the summer training and internship experiences. Educational background includes achieving PSEO at Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 2020 to 2022.
