The Wallingford Family YMCA is an important part of the community, and has been for over 75 years. The Y is a non-profit organization that promotes youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Y is about developing meaningful relationships and strengthening the foundation of our community through our valuable programs and services.

Here in our greater Wallingford community, we’ve been committed to building strong kids, strong families and strong Communities for 75 years, and are determined to keep doing it for at least 75 more.  Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, background, or income, feels welcome and has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive here at the Wallingford Family YMCA.

The Aquatics Team at the Wallingford Family YMCA is dedicated to promoting water safety and skill development through a variety of programs catered to all age groups. This team is responsible for organizing and conducting swim lessons, lifeguard training, and competitive swim practices, ensuring a safe and engaging aquatic environment. By fostering a strong sense of community and upholding the YMCA’s core values, the Aquatics Team contributes to the overall mission of building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
