Nicole Parete

Nicole Parete currently serves as the Coordinator of Special Education at Wallkill Central School District, a position held since March 2019. Prior to this role, Nicole was the Assistant Principal at Children's Home of Kingston, where services were provided to boys and young men facing various challenges. Nicole's background includes roles as a Community Liaison/Office Manager for the New York State Assembly, as well as a Social Studies Teacher in Saugerties and New Paltz Central School Districts, focusing on various history subjects and mentoring students. Additionally, Nicole has experience as a Faculty Advisor with the Envision National Youth Leadership Council, and as a Program Instructor for the Close Up Foundation, emphasizing leadership and civic engagement among high school students. Nicole holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Leadership and a Master's degree in Education from SUNY New Paltz, along with a Bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education from Western New England University.
