Ben Simms

Ben Simms has over a decade of experience in merchandise operations, currently serving as Vice President of Merchandise Operations - Hardlines at Walmart since June 2011. In previous roles, Ben held various leadership positions, including Senior Director of Merchandise Operations for both Frozen and Dry Grocery categories, where significant achievements include generating substantial incremental sales and profits, enhancing inventory management practices for a large portfolio, and leading training initiatives for numerous associates. Prior to Walmart, Ben gained experience at Michigan State University as a Cafeteria Supervisor and completed an internship in Category Management at ConocoPhillips. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
