David Crump is an experienced in-house counsel and executive advisor with a strong litigation background. They served as a Partner at McDermott Will and Emery from 2006 to 2015, where they represented clients in complex litigation matters and conducted internal investigations. Subsequently, they worked as the Director of Compliance & Ethics at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2015 to 2019, advising on global privacy laws and managing investigations. David then took on the role of Deputy General Counsel at UnitedHealth Group from 2019 to 2023, overseeing legal matters and compliance across international assets. Currently, David is the Deputy General Counsel at IKEA, leading legal operations and strategy for the North American market while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and English from William & Mary and attending Georgetown Law.
