Earvin Young Jr

Earvin Young Jr is currently serving as Vice President of Belonging Experience at Walmart since November 2023, focusing on developing strategies for a world-class belonging experience and supporting associates through a culture of acceptance and value. Prior to this role, Earvin held multiple executive positions at Sam's Club from May 2012 to November 2023, including Vice President of People Strategy & Portfolio Management and Vice President of Sam's Club Support People, where responsibilities included leading diversity and inclusion initiatives and managing HR policy strategy. Earvin's earlier experience at Walmart from August 2007 to May 2012 as Senior Director of Human Resources involved leading teams to implement innovative HR strategies, including succession planning and the introduction of a performance and talent management system. Earvin holds a Bachelor's of Science in Organizational Management from John Brown University, completed between 2003 and 2005, and graduated from D.D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, IL, in 1984.
