Gregory Schaffer

Gregory Schaffer currently serves as Chief Counsel Cybersecurity and VP Digital Trust Compliance at Walmart since February 2022, previously holding the position of Vice President, Digital Trust Compliance at Walmart Global Tech from August 2017 to February 2022. Schaffer founded First72 Cyber and served as its CEO and Board Member from February 2014 to September 2019. Other notable roles include Vice President, Global IT and eCommerce Audit at Walmart, Chief Security Strategist at The Circumference Group, EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at Fidelity National Information Services, Assistant Secretary for Cyber Security & Communications at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Chief Risk Officer at Alltel Communications, and Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Beginning judicial experience includes serving as Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. Schaffer holds a JD from USC Gould School of Law and a BS in Political Communications from The George Washington University.
