Jaimeet Patel

Jaimeet Patel is a seasoned Computer Vision System Engineer with a robust background in camera design and calibration for self-checkout kiosks at Walmart since March 2022. Previously, Jaimeet worked at Occipital as a Computer Vision Calibration Engineer, where responsibilities included implementing modular transfer functions. At Facebook, from March 2019 to July 2021, Jaimeet contributed to the development of prototypes for a video calling device, focusing on 2D/3D Human Pose Estimation and various depth estimation techniques. Jaimeet's career in computer vision began at Fit3D as a 3D Computer Vision Engineer, leading the development of scan data lifecycle algorithms, and included a graduate research assistantship in a medical imaging research center, focusing on image denoising techniques.
