Lance Shields

Lance Shields is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various industries. As the Head of Design and Co-Founder at iid from August 2011 to August 2018, Lance managed agency operations while driving UX/UI design and mentoring others. Prior roles include Creative Director at SCIENT CORP, where Lance developed a prominent digital branding agency in Japan, and Design Director at Adobe, focusing on making tools accessible globally and enhancing user experiences in Adobe Express. Additionally, Lance has served as Design Director for AMWAY JAPAN G.K., Digital Marketing Group Director at MRM Worldwide, and is currently the Director of Design for eCommerce Experiences at Walmart. Educational credentials include an MBA in International Management and Finance from McGill University and a BFA in Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute.
