Prakash Venkatakrishnan

Prakash Venkatakrishnan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Distinguished Technical Architect at Walmart since August 2011, Prakash has led modernization initiatives from legacy systems to cloud solutions, standardized architecture and coding processes, and managed a matrix organization for product delivery. Previous roles include Principal Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Walmart, where responsibilities encompassed HR technology solutions and workday integration for millions of associates. Prior to Walmart, roles at HTC Global Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, L&T Infotech, HCL Technologies, and iNautix Technologies included systems analysis, team leadership, and software development for various sectors, notably insurance. Prakash holds a Master of Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University and a Bachelor's degree from Nehru Memorial College.
