Sandra Varela

Sandra Varela is a seasoned in-house attorney and ethics specialist currently serving as Corporate Legal Director at Walmart, where they oversee contracts, intellectual property, corporate matters, privacy, and special projects. Previously, they held the position of Ethics Officer at Walmart, managing ethics investigations and providing leadership on compliance issues. Sandra's legal career includes significant roles such as General Counsel for GE Money Mexico and Director of Legal and Compliance at Genworth Financial Mexico. They earned a Licenciada en Derecho from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master’s degree in Derecho de Empresa from Universidad Panamericana.
