Sean Thurman is currently the Group Director of Global Public Policy at Walmart, having advanced from the role of Senior Director. Prior to joining Walmart in 2021, Sean held various positions at Associated Builders and Contractors, including Federal Affairs Coordinator and Director of Legislative Affairs. Sean also served as a Labor Policy Advisor for the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions from 2015 to 2016. Sean earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in 2005.
