Zoya Rukh Awan

Zoya Rukh Awan, MBA, serves as the Director of Public Affairs at Walmart since December 2018, managing a budget exceeding $300K and leading a team focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Prior experience includes the role of Government Affairs Senior Project Coordinator at Microsoft, where Zoya managed corporate participation in major political events and oversaw influential VIP visits. Zoya has also contributed to initiatives promoting sustainable development as part of UNLEASH, conducted market research for Marriott International, and gained significant experience in strategic communications with the U.S. Department of State and The White House Office of Correspondence. Educational background includes an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in International Affairs from American University.
