Manuela Moncayo has a strong background in product design and has held various roles throughout their career. Manuela currently works as a Product Designer at Walnut since 2023. Before that, they worked at Dropbox as a Lead Product Designer for targeted activation from June 2022 to February 2023 and as a Lead Product Designer for organizing experience from August 2021 to May 2022. Prior to Dropbox, they were a Lead Product Designer at Wiley Education Services from February 2021 to August 2021.
Manuela also has experience in management roles, having worked as a Product Designer Manager at OnPoint from January 2018 to January 2021. In this role, they collaborated closely with stakeholders and managed a team of UX/UI and graphic designers. Manuela also created design standards, briefs, and action plans.

Manuela also worked as a Marketing Graphic Designer at CID Design Group, Inc. from March 2015 to March 2016, contributing to the redesign and development of the company's corporate identity and creating graphic and editorial material.
Manuela's early career included roles as an E-Commerce & Designer Manager at Genius Jones from October 2014 to October 2015, where they focused on conceptual thinking and the creation of marketing and advertising material. Manuela also worked as an Industrial Designer at Fundación Pies Descalzos in 2014, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and creating digital and print material aligned with brand standards.
Manuela Moncayo completed their education in a chronological order as follows. From 2018 to 2019, they attended Ironhack and pursued a degree in UX/UI Design. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they studied at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and obtained a degree in Industrial Design. In 2010, they briefly attended Escuela de Cine y Fotografia Zonacinco, where they focused on Professional Photography. Additionally, in the year 2008 to 2009, they attended EF International Language Campuses and received an Advance English Certification in Brighton, England.
