Lalo Durán's work experience begins in 2003 with a role in account management and marketing at PRISMA Tecnología Computacional S.A. de C.V. There, they sold the company's software solutions, conducted demos, and developed marketing materials. In 2005, they moved to Dieste Inc. as a creative, a position they held until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a senior creative/writer at iNSPIRE!. In 2011, they joined Lopez Negrete Communications as an associate creative director, eventually becoming a creative director there until 2014. Lastly, in 2014, they co-founded and became the managing partner of WALO.
Lalo Durán attended The University of Texas at El Paso from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising.
