Michalis Apollon Chatzimichalis

Michalis Apollon Chatzimichalis is a System Engineer at WALO Bertschinger since August 2020, with responsibilities including the management of the ITSM tool ky2help, the entire virtualization environment using VMware vCenter, and firewall administration. Michalis successfully led the migration of WALO's IT landscape to Swisscom's SD-WAN solution and introduced Confluence to the organization. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Apprentice at WALO Bertschinger and INFRAS, where Michalis developed ITSM processes and supported various IT functions. Michalis started in the industry as an IT Intern at ewz, gaining foundational knowledge in network and information technology. Currently, Michalis is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, following the completion of a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate and a Federal VET Diploma in Systems Engineering.
