Sureha Uddin

Sureha Uddin has extensive experience in education, creative direction, and community service, currently serving as a Lecturer at Walsall College since October 2017. In parallel, Sureha has been the Creative Director at ICandy Events Ltd since December 2014 and actively participates in community initiatives as a Project Worker/Director at Walsall BME Advice Centre, overseeing services such as a weekly soup kitchen and women's well-being classes since November 2016. Sureha co-founded the Walsall Women's Forum in March 2017, contributing to local women's advocacy. Previous roles include Freelance Interpreter and Domestic Abuse Officer at Birmingham City Council from February 2008 to February 2020, Freelance Hairstylist and Makeup Artist at Le Keux Vintage Salon, Family Support Specialist at NHS England, Case Worker at Crown Prosecution Service, and Executive Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions, with a career spanning several impactful positions in various sectors.
