Dayna Kleve

Dayna Kleve has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Dayna started their career in 2008 as a Copy Editor for The Hillsider. Dayna then interned as a General Assignment/Multimedia Reporter for The Bemidji Pioneer in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a News Producer for WDIO-TV and later KSTP-TV, where they won an award from the MN Society of Professional Journalists. Dayna also held roles as a Research Assistant and Managing Editor for The UMD Statesman at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2006 to 2009. In 2015, they worked as an English Language Teacher at CHUNGDAHM Learning. Since 2017, they have been employed by Walser Automotive Group, first as a Sr. Social Media & Reputation Management Specialist, then as a Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications, and currently as the Director of Diversity, Engagement & Foundation.

Dayna Kleve has a strong education history with a focus on both the liberal arts and human resources management. Dayna first attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism. During their time at this institution, they also spent a year abroad at the University of Birmingham in the academic year 2006-2007, although they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study at this particular institution.

More recently, from 2022 to 2025, Dayna attended Strayer University to pursue a Master of Science in Human Resources Management. This degree program demonstrates their commitment to furthering their knowledge and skills in the field.
