Melissa has a longstanding commitment to community service as a volunteer with various organizations since 2002. Previous roles include Project Manager and VP Marketing Manager at BMO Harris Bank from 1996 to 2014 and Senior Buyer at Marshall Field's from 1982 to 1996. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles from Iowa State University, where marketing was a minor.
