Jim Major

Jim Major is an experienced construction professional currently serving as Lead Superintendent Healthcare at The Walsh Group, overseeing the VBMC project in Poughkeepsie, New York, which encompasses 750,000 square feet on a 12-acre site with a budget exceeding $500 million. Since 2009, Jim has held senior roles in aviation and civil projects, including serving as Senior General Superintendent for the Bradley West International Terminal at LAX, which has a budget of $1.3 billion. With a robust background in heavy civil work, shoring and boring operations, structural concrete and steel, and healthcare construction, Jim has previously worked with Turner Construction, specializing in OSHPD healthcare projects in California. Jim holds an associate degree in Business Management from the State University of New York and a Bachelor of Music from the University at Albany, SUNY.
